Van Persie to be the hottest property on the market next summer
Joining the likes of Inter, Manchester City and even Real Madrid, AC Milan have registered their interest in Arsenal’s ever-strengthening captain Robin Van Persie. This widespread attraction to the player has probably not been this strong before, with the striker slamming in three goals in just six league games whilst also adding an assist too. However, it is his unusual spell away from the Arsenal treatment room that has provided the potential suitors’ confidence that the Dutchman can stay fit.
As the only real remaining ‘poster boy’ at Arsenal, even debating selling Van Persie could damage the club’s reputation as a central club in European football. One cannot truly say that there are any players apart from the aforementioned striker that make the squad just that little bit better than the rest… yet.
The worrying part of this rumour in particular is that Wenger has already shown interest in several strikers in this week alone, with Wagner Love and M’Baye Niang seemingly fitting Wenger’s bill and Eden Hazard again coming under the spotlight as a possible replacement as well. These may all seem like excellent players but NONE have that unique class and style of Robin Van Persie, as well as the experience and leadership (to a point) that he provides to the younger and newer members of the squad.
Now all Wenger has to do is convince our main man that Arsenal are a club on the up – starting with Spurs.

Buying well established and talented players in January will serve 2 main purposes. First add much needed quality to our decimated squad and second convince players like Van Persie, Walcott and Wilshere that Arsenal is the place to be right now!

RVP once said he is only interested in winning with arsenal. We have a good squad that can challenge, just need to sort out the defending and add give them time to gel. With jack coming back next year and hopefully a quality signing in Jan, we might not need to wait ling for glory!! Comon you reds!!!

There is more chance of Hazard joining the spuds than there is of you building a 60,000 seater stadium! Guess what spuds, we have one and it is called the Emirates
Also 4th place is not going to happen to spuds, you overacheived once so get over it! You simply are not a top four team.
We have sold our best players for years but have great talent coming through and will always be better than your lot!
Soon we will be debt free – we will see who is laughing when you start building your stadium (Forget the Olympic stadium) but until then remember that we have won the league twice at the mess you call a stadium and also UNDEFEATED as well.
You over-rate your team, no one in Europe knows the spuds. We have a bigger fan base, bigger stadium and are a Global brand and Arsene is better than any manager you have or will have. I already mentioned the stadium, been there done that!

I personally don’t mind, the lad’s 28 years old and is enjoying his best time in football. When will he win a trophy with Arsenal? next year? in 2 years, 3 maybe? At that time he’ll be 31/32. Just accept large sum of money and reinvest Arsene!
