WAGWatch – Bendtner's new ROYAL girlfriend!
The Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has just been voted the Player-of-the-Year in Denmark, and he is becoming a big celebrity in his home country.
Not least because he has been dating a member of the Danish Royal Family who is also a star in her own right.
Baroness Caroline Luel-Brockdorff is a 34 year-old divorcee who got a £400m pay-off when she split from her banker husband Rory Fleming.
She also shot to fame on a reality TV show when she was filmed renovating her castle on terrestial TV in Denmark, which is when she met Nicklas when he did a guest appearance on the show.
In Denmark their love affair is seen as a “fairytale” due to her Royal connections, and a Danish commentator told the Sun today: “There have definitely been a few eyebrows raised about the age gap and the difference in their personalities.
“But overall, people here are really delighted for them both.”
Even on Bendtner’s wage at Arsenal it would take him 20 years to catch up with his royal girlfriend, so it looks like young Nicklas has fallen on his feet with this one.
She may be 13 years older than him, but i’m sure you will agree she has been well looked after!
This is definitely not your normal airhead WAG. Well done Nicklas.
