Walcott – I want trophies and Arsenal can win the FA Cup
The Arsenal winger Theo Walcott says that the comeback win was needed to cheer up the fans, and he is desperate to win his first trophy with the Gunners this season. He was actually asked if he would prefer that Arsenal ended up in the Top Four or to win the FA Cup.
He replied: “That’s a tough question… I would like to finish fourth or even higher. I would like to win any trophy we can. I am the sort of player who won’t be thinking about that because it is a long season. We are going to work hard to do whatever we can.
“Medals are something I would like, I would like to look back on my career at the trophies I have won. There are none yet. I’d like to do everything but obviously trophies are the main thing.”
With the two Manchester teams already out of the competition, Walcott believes that this is a good opportunity for the Gunners to get to Wembley again, but he admits there is still a long way to go.
“This is a great opportunity for us because some of the big teams have gone out,” he said. “But I think if we do start thinking a bit too far ahead, maybe we will be disappointed at the end of it.
“This is a cup competition that we can win and we need to believe that we can. But our priority is not that now, it is Wednesday’s game at Bolton. That’s what everybody is like in the dressing room.
“It was a great result for us but everyone will go home, put their feet up, recover tomorrow and then travel and go again on Wednesday.”
After three League defeats in a row it is imperative that they get back on track with a win tomorrow. Hopefully the FA Cup win will instil the side with a little more confidence against Bolton……

Gun them down lads and Theo take lessons from the legend who previously wore jersey number 14 on how to be a hit man a lethal one at that.

wake up walcott u got a lucky goal , and 2 penalties, does not all of a sudden make arsenal . trophy winners.
players like you improving thier game , + buying the palyers we need in pivital areas. makes arsenal a trophy winning team. remember arsenal beat chelsea. then lost to fulham and swansea.. so dont get to carried away with the cup win over villa, win at bolton tomorrow. would be good ?

Trophy will come after long struggle. The attitude in second half of Aston villa match thats what needed for the remaining fixtures. I recognise much work you do expecially defending once the ball is our half. it makes you exhausted once you overlap. Keep it up man Sagna is on the way to help you overlap soon. You need to improve in crosses you make/ accuracy just like our future Iniesta. I can fore see trophies comming up this season. Man U, Charlsea, Man city are all having plenty of injuries. Its our time to reduce the gap. RVP and Arteta needs your passes.

Walcott talks to much when what he really should be doing

Well arsenal can win the fa cup if they are ready, beaten aston villa doesn’t mean we can win the race but we have to tight our belt then we no what next by ur sprinkle we are healed
