Walcott Major Doubt For Champions League Tie
With games coming thick and fast now that the Champions League has started and we have progressed into the next round of the Carling Cup, another injury is the last thing boss Arsene Wenger wanted, but the news appears not to be good on Theo Walcott who limped off towards the end of yesterdays game.
At first it was thought a hamstring was the problem, but it is to Walcott’s knee where the problem lies. Wenger said, “It looked like a classic hamstring injury when Theo went down, but he said he had a sharp pain in his knee. He’ll need a scan so we can assess what kind of damage it is.”
Lets hope the damage is not serious and Theo will be back in action sooner rather than later but the early signs are not good, but out of every adversity comes a seed of equal or greater benefit and there is a certain youngster by the name of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain waiting in the wings to grab his chance should it arise.

admin get real, if he misses only wednesday we are majorly lucky… when a player suddenly stops at the field like that, very often it’s a injury of 3 or 4 months… if he misses a week or so, it’s great news…

Oh dear..its another injury. Hope it is not serious and he will be back soon. Otherwise we suffer another major blow and Alex Ox’ will have to fill in big boots

I dont think alex ox can just take up the boots of theo walcott who has made a very much contribution to the squad recently… It will be a total test of mentality and believing for the gunners at the wing… next premier league match Tottenham Hotspurs… Can the ‘oxo kid’ take the shrewsbury game to the games coming up for him??? I believe in him, but profesionally i dont…

Chamberlin cost 12 million he had better come in and do something good . And I don’t want to hear excuses about his age , if age is an issue how come it’s not with jack . He cost more than arteta so get on and cement your place . Was at the game yesterday and it was our first real performance and even if they had 11 we still would of won . Arteta is top quality .

i think he deserves a rest, fit or not. we have players to take his position although they are still new to the team its time they get their chance. van persie needs to be rested too unless we are looking for trouble.i hope wenger keeps him on the bench against olympiakos and only bring him if park fails to spark.
chamberlain and miyaichi will play this season,age doesnt count because they are brilliant players but needs time to adapt.

am not feeling good without seeing wocatt in pitch on saturday this week,arenal wenger should go to market to buy good players for arsenal in end of season.coz almost the player running way from arenal without the tropies very season.i should thank so much for arsenal to go marker to purchasing for good player for arsenal.
