Wenger – Barcelona don’t want Fabregas any more
Arsene Wenger had to endure a terrible summer last year with everyone Barcelona player and his dog joining in the tapping-up games as they tried to convince Arsenal that Cesc Fabregas should return to his spiritual home in Barcelona.
During yesterday’s Q&A session with journalists, Wenger was asked if he was expecting further approaches from the Spanish giants this summer, and he replied: “‘Barcelona were interested last year, not this year.”
This will please Arsenal fans who have grown heartily sick of the never-ending quotes from Fabregas’ Spanish team-mates about “Barca DNA” and other such rubbish, and of course the taunts about how many trophies Barcelona have won (and Arsenal haven’t!).
Of course with Barca out of the way there could still be a recurrence of rumours from other clubs, as we’ve already seen the AC Milan whispers, but there are very few people that now believe Cesc would go anywhere other than Barcelona.
Perhaps he can have a quiet summer for a change……..

besides as if its gonna stop the tapping up lol
what it probably means is that barca wont pay over £20m but will spend the whole summer trying to get him for that

I want fabregas to be like gerrard and lampard, a person who has stayed and captained (like gerrard) for a long time and are loyal. Fabregas should stay till he is 32 , then he can fuk off to barcelona

I think i should infer that whether barca wants Fab or not, the young lad’s mind is never at arsenal again like it used to. Watching a classic finals against Man U i knw his mind would’ve filled with repercussions for not haven’t dumped arsenal last summer. Remember he intentionally gave out a bck pass to Iniesta to give to messi to score against us.

Fabregas is the best player at Arsenal besides Robin who is most of the time injured. Only Xavi and Iniesta can replace him in this ‘engauche’ 4321 Arsenal system. It would be disastrous to sell him. Both Wilshere/Ramsey are not ready.

I say if he sees that wenger is improving the squad, he might stay and settle down. But not if the keep scoring in front and conceding at the back. While Wenger is at it, he might as well buy my kid brother he is 5 years old and delivers dangerous passes at the dog and cat when we play practice at home. I am getting sick of this fabregas-barca sh*t saga. For how long will we tolerate this. Barca keep tapping him up for the whole year, isnt this against the rules or something.
