Wenger – Every point is vital now so i won't rest Vermaelen and Gallas

Wenger - Every point is vital
The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not prepared to take any chances to rest William Gallas or Thomas Vermaelen in the next couple of months, as he says every single point is vital in the busy period ahead.
The pair have developed a great relationship at the back, and have also scored nine goals between them at the other end of the pitch, and Wenger is loathe to split them up, even when the “easier” games are being played.
“They [Gallas and Vermaelen] have been exposed much more and they go as well now on international duty after the Wolverhampton game,” said Wenger.
“But Senderos is coming back into a good condition, Silvestre is working very hard and looking very good in training, so we are covered but of course, you want to keep everybody in fitness.
“At the moment, no I am not tempted to rotate my centre backs. I do not like to rotate too much in central defence because we are in a position where they have a good understanding and every point is vital so it’s not worth to take a gamble if I’m not forced to do it.”
So it doesn’t look like we will be seeing the return of Philippe Senderos any time soon!
