Wenger Faces Two Game Ban
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is facing a two-game ban for breaching UEFA’s rules during a previous ban. Wenger will have to sit out the first two Champions League games of the group stage because of this.
Wenger was banned from the dugout for the August 16 clash against Udinese but was found to be communicating with the coaching staff during the game. UEFA investigate the matter and although Arsenal lodged an appeal UEFA have banned the coach again.
TalkSport Radio reports that UEFA released a statement that said: “The UEFA Appeals Body has rejected the appeal lodged by Arsenal FC and Arsene Wenger against the two-match suspension handed to the manager in the wake of the English club’s UEFA Champions League play-off first leg against Udinese Calcio on 16 August.”
It further said: “Wenger will now be suspended from carrying out his duties at Arsenal’s next two UEFA competition matches – the UEFA Champions League group stage games against Borussia Dortmund and Olympiacos FC on 13 and 28 September – in accordance with the decision taken by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body on August 22.”
Wenger will be disappointed at the ruling but will hope that he can prepare his players and coaching staff so that they can do the job without him. Olympiacos should be no trouble for the Gunners but Dortmund are a trickier prospect, known for their attacking football.

Looks like we’ll also need a good substitute manager for every time Wenger gets suspended lol.

UEFA is kind of funny and not precise.According to early report we heard that arsenal fc asked the UEFA official attached to the udenise match if the coach could ammunicate with the assistance and he was told yes which he did through a third party supposing he was not at the match venue and he called his assistant coach from where ever would UEFA know or will they ban the assistant coach from using his private phone?in my own opinion i think UEFA is not plain and precise.
