Wenger hints that Fellaini could be Arsenal transfer target

Arsene Wenger has been speaking about the Everton player, Marouane Fellaini, ahead of Arsenal’s trip north to play David Moyes’ team tonight. Le Prof expressed his admiration for the Belgian international who might prove to be a thorn in the side as he returns from suspension to face the Gunners at Goodison Park.

“I just think he is a good player. Everton’s offensive game turns around him. He is the target man they look for, and in recent years he is moving further forward.

“When he arrived at Everton he was more defensive. Now he is more forward, and it looks like he will finish centre forward. He uses his body well, but he is not a dirty player, he is an intelligent player.”

Basically, he is the sort of player that Wenger likes, especially the fact that he can play in a number of positions and can adapt his game. Wenger has been asked alot about transfers after the news of the new sponsorship deal and Gazidis’ statement that there is money available in January. Wenger has said that he would only buy certain type of players, so when asked specifically whether he thought that Fellaini could do a job at Arsenal and he replied with a simple “Yes,” was Wenger suggesting that an offer might be on the cards in January?

Fellaini would certainly add quality and strength to our midfield, which we have been lacking since Diaby’s injury troubles resurfaced.

How is that an indication that Wenger is going to try and sign him?! Too expensive for the board anyway, if they weren’t willing to part with 20mil for Mata then not a chance they are willing to spend 25-30mill on Fellaini! Would love to see him come to The Arsenal but lets be realistic about things!

fellaini is turning out to be an excellent player and would love to see him in red and white. But I’d feel a bit out of order if we took him (not that there’s any chance of that happening) because moyes is one of the few managers I respect. What he’s done at everton on the tightest of budgets is astounding

Wenger will buy fellani if he can get him for 50p and will still want change. Next we will be linked to ronaldo and messi !!

O man i hope we can get Fellaini, hes much more suited to the PL than Diaby could ever be (unless Diaby took his physical deficiencies serious then done something about it) moreover i believe that Fellaini wouldnt switch off at crucial stages in the way Diaby sometimes can, Diaby on the other hand is much much better with his feet, it would be amazingly interesting in seeing them both vying for the starting role and again even more interesting would be seeing them both start a game together with there qualities being so contrasting but one thing for sure is the pair truly would be more than a handful for any opponent, please make this happen as with the two big fellas along with Arteta and Wilshere i believe we would bully and boss any midfield especially considering we have the Frimpong and Coquelin in reserve, then theres the other side of the coin with our attacking qualities, the opposition wouldnt know what hit them, Diaby baring down on goal with his three second the length of the field move, Wilshere and Cazorla playing telepathically beautiful football, Arteta may gain extra licence to roam and encouraged to hit thirty yard belters, Walcott faster than a speeding bullit scaring the s**t out of defences, then theres the contrast with Oli and Fellaini being absolute beasts around the box, and much more but i think yiz get the point, on top of this if we were to add a top top striker with the beast both in jan i would be absolutely delighted

Only thing Fellini has got in common with Viera or even Diaby is his height. If true than Wenger is getting desperate but I think the above is a stupid brainless speculative article!

Wish admin would stick to quality rather that utter garbage quantity.

I think that theres definitely going to be transfer activity in jan, Wenger said so himself more or less during August and we know that there is at least fourty mil sitting around, i were thinking that if he buys it wont be big name/names as the contract monies will be apart of the fourty mil, but now that we have asked for Emirates money to be paid upfront i think we could see something big happen, i know i might be deluding myself but on the other hand it could be just that the last eight seasons have been so difficult that its become the norm, we are finally reaching the finish line financially speaking and we have asked for money on top of our already decent budget, we have signed/renewed many lucrative deals so all this gloom should be in my opinion just about over, at Hughbury we were used to world cup winners wanting to sign with the Gunners and Wenger used to go after said world cup winners, i know that Arsene used to still try and get a bang for his buck back then but we still payed well enough the going rate to our players, we didnt have these money bag teams to consider back then and if we had never moved we would never have (closely) matched the contracts that utd offer but i think we can now take a leaf out of manu book and pay a similar amount, Jan could be the time that we make our statement of intent, i cant see any other reason as to why we have asked for money upfront can you

We can buy Fellaini and give them Ramsey on loan to the end of the season.
    Felleini can also replace Diaby

Come on Arsenal!! Just shows how important Walcott is to us. Great start. But I must also say, for those that don’t think Fellaini wouldn’t fit into our team if we bought him, your all mad!! He’s the only one that has caused us problems so far tonight, and he scored again. He’s on fire this season. If we aren’t interested in bringing in quality like him, then something is very wrong. Proven in the premier league too….. Rather spend abit more on proven quality than another gamble player from France who turns out to be at best average!!!

This is all bull Mr Wenger will sell Walcot in January.
He will not be Replaced. There will be no New Players at Arsenal. The Money from Walcot will be used to pay big fat
dividends to the Board. Get Real Arsenal Fans Wake up these lies come out every transfer window.
