Wenger hoping for good news on Jack Wilshere this week
It was originally forecast that Jack Wilshere would be returning to the Arsenal team in late January, but just as he looked close to full fitness again it was revealed in a scan that the 18 year-old had yet another small bone broken in his foot,
But today Wenger has revealed that Wilshere is going for a new indepth scan this coming week and the Frenchman sounds quietly optimistic that there will be a positive result from it and Wishere will still be able to play a part in the Arsenal squad this season.
Wenger said: “I hope that we will get good news from him because that is very important for Arsenal.”
“This is the stage where the latest scan will be vital to decide when he will come back.”
It would be a fantastic boost for Arsenal (and England) if he could play the last few months of the season, especially if the Gunners are still aiming for the Champions League and FA Cup by the time he returns……

We need him so much it’s unbelievable. Ramsey would be much more comfortable with Jack although he has formed a decent partnership with Arteta, but i think Jack was the Rock of our team last year, he was fast, aggressive, one of the best passers i have ever seen last season and unlike Arshavin he is so committed to defending.

Both of the changes Wenger has made scored Ramsey-Henry. Arshavin had an impact on the game what a blinding cross wasnt easy to get that ball to henry. Mertesacker had a disiplined controlled game was just unlucky hope he gets well soon. Arsene Wenger the great proved once again!!

as wenger said when the games not going well towards the end you take a gamble it is a risk it rather works and ends up great or fails and turns into misery and today it worked perfectly all the 3 changes were spot on they changed the game had a big impact. arshavin as an aging player definitely needs to cut on his workrate and hence should be given a free attacking role.he will then i believe will be brilliant with his through balls,gud shooting skills and so on.like anything else,a player shud b used 2 his strengths.at wings its lots of work 4 his age.hav never termed rambo as ramshit.it was only a mattr of getting a break 4 d young tiring legs…

I was really estatic that Arshavin did what was expected of him by our Boss today. Optimistic about Jack but he could come back and immediately go down again. I’m not getting any hope up for Jack this season, I’d rather he were 100% and rested, eased back into training and fully ready to go preseason. Not worth risking another major setback

Just to went a little bit. After todays game, everybody rated Rosicky down to the ground, BUT my impression was that he did an awesome jon today, he doesn’t deserve the flop of the match title, He did great, so did Arshavin. I just hope they get improved confidence now from this day on.
