Wenger – I believe Arsenal will beat Tottenham, and i'm "tempted" by Almunia
Will Wenger pick Almunia?
The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that it is very important for his team to take all three points this weekend to keep the pressure on Chelsea and Man Utd at the top of the League, and he thinks they will do it!
Wenger said: “We have a game in hand, we are in a strong position and this is a good opportunity for us.
“This is a game we want to win, I believe we will do it and the fact it’s a derby gives us a bit more motivation.”
Everybody wants to know who he will choose in goal, a decision that was made easier by the fact the Lukasz Fabianski was injured on his return to the team in midweek, but he has been keeping his cars close to his chest.
Did he drop a clue when he said: “Almunia is fit to start. I’m always tempted to start with Almunia. A player who is on the bench always wants to start.”
Hmm he may well have been “tempted” to play Almunia for the last three games, but he didn’t!
