Wenger – I fear Barcelona in the Champions League again
Arsene Wenger is preparing to start off this years Champions League campaign, and he says that Barcelona is still the opponent that he would like to avoid as long as possible.
Arsenal were destroyed 4-1 in the Nou Camp last season, when the side was decimated by injuries, but Lionel Messi put in such a virtuoso performance that they would have beaten anyone on that day.
“If there is a team to fear, it is Barca,” Wenger said.
“Nobody is unbeatable but they are the team to beat.”
But he believes that his Young Gunners are not so young any more, and are now ready to compete at the top table, and are capable of going all the way this time around. “We are equipped to win the Champions League, yes. We have in our squad a good mix of quality and experience. When you see our team play, they are no longer tender.”
Braga will be a fair test in the first game of the Group Stages, after the Belgians beat Celtic and Sevilla in qualifying, but Arsenal need to take maximum points to set the tone for the rest of the season.

Three bits of news:
A full-strength B*rca lost last night to unheralded new boys Hercules 0-2 at the Nou Camp. In fact they were humiliated.
And Braga (not quite an anagram) is Portuguese! How can you possibly not know that? The nearest a Belgian side comes to being Braga is Bruges (of which there are two).
And lastly Theo’s sister isn’t fit – just scary. Now there’s someone Wenger should fear.

what wenger said is right, barca are the team to avoid,why would any team,want to play them,barca have just won the world cup(well most of em) they the best passing and attacking team around,taught us a lesson last season (dispite our injuries,we were outclassed).
