Wenger – I’m staying at Arsenal for next three years!
There have been rumours in France that Arsene Wenger has been offered a lucrative contract by the new owners of Paris St Germain, and as he is in France for tonights match against Marseille the French journos have been asking him if there is any truth in the rumours.
But Wenger has stated that he is not interested in moving on while he still has a contract at Arsenal, which means he will be staying for the forseeable future.
“I have three years to go with Arsenal and I always respect my contract.” he said.
There will definitely be some readers of JustArsenal that will not be happy with this news, but I personally think it is just a matter of time before Wenger gets Arsenal winning consistently again, and I’m pretty sure that we will be back in the Top Four very shortly.
And perhaps we will be seeing a trophy in the cabinet in the next couple of years….

Happy that Arsene stays. BUT I want a new medic team and maybe a new assistan manager, someone like Bergkamp maybe.

@Malik: boicotting games will only make the matter worse. The team will tumble faster without the fans. Use your head, not your d*ck. Are you trying to sabotage your own team? Please stop these negativity, RVP and Co. is getting better and better, they only need more time and support. It’s nothing to do with sacking anybody. The board is not stupid, when they feel their profit is threatened (because of poor performances), surely they will sack someone.

To be realistic. We won’t win anything for about 4years minimum. Its so tough in this league and its getting tougher. While at the same time we are getting weaker. We have to wait till Wengers new team is built and at an average age of about 24. Wilshere, Ramsey, Frimpong, Coqulin, Jenkinson, Bartley, Ox, Miyachi, W Silva, Campbell. With the older experienced Song, Diaby, Theo. With a couple of powerful additions that can be the team that wins something.
Personally I think this has been the plan for a while. The rush buys he has had, Arteta, santos etc are just their to carry us to that point.
There’s maybe 2 players in our squad that the other top EPL Teams would even think about buying.

I don’t understand why some people complains about Wenger or the players…yes the team is not as good as other teams we had in the past but it’s time to be a REAL FAN and be realistic,Fabregas left and we always knew he was gonna leave for Barcelona,end of story! Clichy wasn’t good enough for arsenal he couldn’t defend and no one can deny that…Eboue was not a first team player and he had to move on, his best years were long gone. Arsenal has been very unlucky..Vermaelen has been injured for a long time and he is the heart of our defense,Whilshere has been injured for along time now and we really need him…Wenger worked hard to get players in the summer but players or clubs did not want to sell their players and players themselves didn’t want to leave their clubs…keep some faith and stop making negative comments…a good deal would be to get Teves in Arsenal for January as a partner for Van Persie…and probably buy one more defender and a new midfielder to partner Arteta as Ramsey is not good enough but besides that im happy with the team….ARSENAL FOR LIFE AND KEEP THE FAITH !!

Hey! Please what’s the essence of buying a player but the manager refuse to use them. Player like oxlade chamberlain and park not sitting on the bench is not polite infact those two player deserve the first eleven jarsey not even to be on the bench. Board! board!! board!!! The manager, the executive Please find solution to the situation of Ox and park not playing since their arrival. Up Gunners.

Great victory at Marseille.Producing the goods in the dying moments even if it was a draw,I would have been quite satisfied;Defended really solid,Dominated Possession but what we’re lacking at the moment is creativity & we’ve been lacking that since Fab & Nasri but i know we’ll get there.

couple things on tonight’s game…
The first time i actually looked a Theo and thought “what are you doing” he cant do much apart from run and “cross”
Arshavin…just had nothing tonight. hopefully an excuse from playing sunday.
part from that, Defence looked better and most importantly we seemed to have back that Arsenal POSSESSION!
we need to be stronger in the mid. RVP wasnt getting any good delivery’s form the mid or the wings. if we had ramsey and ox on from the start, i recon that could have been 3-0.

Not the most exciting game. But one thing that I hope is not premature was the feeling I felt tonight, a feeling I hadn’t felt for months, Secure.
This was the second game of the season I haven’t worried for the whole game. Vermaelen back in 2 weeks so I hope this is a sign of the defence growing stronger and more confident.

There are some people that have not managed their personal life that is just their own, but will tell Wenger that is managing men, with his job is under the watch of the public, that he hasnt done anything positive at all. The manager knows the players and decided to buy them, he knows the requirement of the league and should know when to plug these players into the team. He trains with them daily and knows their level. But people will just on their keyboard and write play this play that. When he got Santos he said he’s not yet fit to play so he dropped him on the bench. Ox is talented so is Ryo but rushing them into games when they have not met the required fitness needed could lead to injuries. These players will start playing when the manager deemed it fit.
