Wenger – My Young Guns can improve again this season to win title
Arsene Wenger believes that his young Arsenal team have been gradually improving each year, and if they improve just a little more this season they can be at the top of the table.
“We have to remind ourselves that we decided to go with a very young team three or four years ago and we have developed this team,” said Wenger.
“I believe that two years ago we were quite far away from the top of the table, but last year in April we were two points away from the top. Normally we should be closer again because that development is part of a young team.
“I know that in England when you do not win the championship it’s always about buying but what is important is that we improve individually and as a team because we are a very young team.
“We are not a team that is at the end of a cycle, we are at the start of a cycle. So our future will be decided not by who we buy or need but as well by how much we improve.”
Having said that, he still agrees that he needs to buy one more defender, unless he is just going to promote Nordtveit and use Song as extra cover……

had a bad season in nearly twenty years,in terms of league positioning goes,never out the top four,and always doing well in europe, well said wenger i’m behind you all the way.

Well! I heard the same old statement year after year. Still no titles after 5 years. No wonder Henry, Flamini, Viera all left Arsenal because the club has no aim to improve on the squad. Signing good players are not for the sake of winning titles only but also for marketing and merchandising and a show of class.
Premier League is very physical and demanding league and there bound to be injury to key players. Our thinning squad members will not be to Gunners advantage. It is not that Arsenal do not have the money, they have and do not want to utilise it and also the 40 mil from Man City for the sale of Toure and Adebayor.
What if Arsenal fails to win title this year? What excuse can Wenger come out with? Can he still said I belief our young squad can……………….

I agree with what AW said but why are always on the start of the cycle he has been using this excuse for last 3 years. .every season he says that we gave improved and will win titles but we don’t win anything..
i trust arsenal n i trust AW very very much i think we jus need defenders wit this players i think we can win trophies if only by signin big players u can win trophies den ac milan real madrid n even barc-stards n many others should win trophies every season but thats not d case all arsenal needs is lil aggression n fight till d end of season not to give up near bussiness peroid of league i think we can win dis time n as a fan we need to support our team completely I THINK THIS IS OUR YEAR THIS OUR TIME TO SHINE N WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe in AW!!we haven’t had one single year of not being a good team or in the top 5,some arsenal fans want new players all the time but if you think of it we are a really good team(although we do need some new signings lol)!!come on arsenal we can win the title!!
