Wenger – Nicklas Bendtner could stay at Arsenal
Although Nicklas Bendtner was insistent that he would be leaving Arsenal this summer, it seems that he hasn’t found the right club willing to pay Arsenal’s asking price, and he may have to stay at the Emirates for another season at least.
Wenger has admitted a few times that Bendtner has been in talks with other clubs, but it seems these have come to nothing so far. The player himself recently implied that he had found his team, but it was up to Arsenal to sort out the details of the transfer.
But Wenger says that this is far from clearcut. He said: “In his interview Bendtner said he was gone, but I checked and he’s not gone at all!
“I promised I would let him go if he found the right club and that has not changed because when I make a promise I keep it.
“But if he doesn’t find the right opportunity he will stay and fight for his place like everybody else. He looks sharp in training.
The official Arsenal website even suggested that Bendtner could play against Udinese tonight, especially as Robin Van Persie and Samir Nasri are both suspended……

Who says we are in crisis? The trophy-less 6 years were far more successful than those where we won the elusive trophies.
The transfer to the Emirates and yet staying and qualifying for CL and fighting for top honors shows how Wenger is the one who is streaming us towards another Successful era..
Keep the faith,it may be frustrating times but this would sonn turn out to be the season we were craving for..

Give him a chance he will not dissapoint..the guy needs games to prove himself..and games in his natural position..not forcing him out as a winger…

The one thing I have not lost for Arsene Wenger is respect.
There are times when I`ve critized him, there are times when I wonder where his mind is, there have even been times when I think he should retire but ,I have ,and always will respect him.

The only way bendtner should stays if wenger goes back to the 4 – 4 – 1 – 1. He’s a cf that obviously can’t adapt to a different role. I hope some poor team picks him up. Sell him and bring in a legitimate back up striker to cover v. Persie. The young Brazilian striker willian that plays for a russian league team is CL league quality just waiting to be used. Use the fab and nas money for a defender first and foremost, a mid or 2, then dip into the 40 mil fund we surges the window with to get a striker. The money is there to spend, not to pose as a foundation of profit in the window for the frugal board!

Bendtner should be played as a CF. He is a poor goal scorer but he is reasonably good at holding up the ball and disrupt the defense. I’d play Arshavin or Gervihno behind him as a second striker and have Bendtner lay-off the ball for them to hit. The only problem is that I find Bendtner to be a rather selfish CF. Walcott and Chamberlain stay on the wings; Song and Ramsey as DMs.

Hahaha!! Wenger says ‘if he makes a promise, he keeps it. Just like he promised he’l buy world class players…. Maybe we never knew he was talking about Jerkinson and oxlaide-chamberlain…. Yeah, the promised world class players….. He really keeps to promise.

Unfortunately for Bendtner, Arsene does not play a 4-4-2 anymore… and compounding his problem is the fact a certain Robin Van Persie plays for Arsenal… it is best for Bendtner to leave the club, and find a team that plays a system that suits his game more… this would be beneficial for both Bendtner and Arsenal…

Bendtner deserves a chance as a CF and not a winger as he did last season. He is our most direct option and is not afraid to take a shot which is a big difference from Chamakh. We need a lot more variations toour game play and since Wenger wont buy big, Bendtner is our best option having come through the ranks.
I would love to see him play a couple of games with Walcot, Chamberlain and Miyochi putting in some crosses.

If Bendtner stays he can still be useful, he is certainly not a starter but if all we need are warm bodies and ugly mugs for Sagna and Wilshere to bounce balls into the net off of Bendter could suffice.

This is a joke. Until today we still unable to offload not only Bendtner but others like Squilacci, Eboue, Diably, Rosicky, Almunia still in our squad, eating our wages budget and contributing very little or nothing to the club.
I am disappointed with the team to do players tranfer. And what does it mean by Bendtner still cannot find a club? If we expect those flops to find a way out themselves then better we just for their contract to expire.

What is most important is that we focus on keeping the players that don’t want to be here.

unless wenger buys a super star bendtner is our best option for back up to van persi before the ignorants start screaming
check out his stats for assists and goals against minutes on pitch playing out of position on the wing people tell me about how many chances he misses but i would rather have chances to miss than having a stylish 70% possession with no end result and dont kid yourselfs bendtner knows chamack has not worked out and knows he is back at the top of the pecking order behind rvp contary to reports there have been many clubs after nick but none as big as arsenal he is waiting to see if we are going to sign another striker and if we dont he will stay at arsenal

I think we should line up like this this season:
Scezny/Fabianski/Mannone
Sagna/Jenkinson Cahill/Djourou Vermaelen/koscielny Cissoko/Gibbs
Song/Ramsey Wilshere/Diaby
Walcott/Chamberlain Marvin Martin/Rosicky Gervinho/Arshavin/Miyachi
Van Persie/Benzema/Bendtner/Cambell
So sell Chamakh,Almunia,Squilacci,Nasri,Eboue,Denilson and Traore
But obviously Wenger wont do that!

the problem with Bentner is that his first touch is awful. He has a club foot and needs to work on it.
His other skills are strong but without a soft touch he gets closed out too quickly.

Why not deploy Bendtner as the striker? He’s shown he has goals in him, why not use him in his natural position rather than deploying him on the flank?

Bentdner has in many occasions savage points for us when we needed much. I pray he could that tonight if he plays, esp with R.v.p and Nasri suspended. But note; if he gets a club, he can go, as he contributes little or noting to the team sometimes.

As things pan out I’m glad Bendtner hasn’t gone. Otherwise we would have been in deep shite for Udinese. We are now as weak as I’ve seen our team under Wenger. That’s only a crisis in the sense that we have no chance of winning anything but the Carling Cup, and probably not that. I respect Wenger for what he HAS DONE for this club, but not for what he IS DOING. I do think he has lost it a bit, but he may pull it out of the bag and sign a couple of marquee players. Leaving it this late, when Premiereship and Champions league have started is negligence, and in any other job would put him on the line. The fans are right to pressurise him, but I wouldn’t want to see him leave.

You are on the money. Excactly. Bentner, Vela, Chamakh, Eboue, Diaby, Arshavin, Squillaci, all need to go. Trouble is Wenger wouldn’t replace them and then the ‘Pampers Stadium’, would be aptly named. Wenger has truly lost the plot. You are right about who we need to sell.
