Wenger to use Nasri cash to snare Eden Hazard
The Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has refused a new contract with the Gunners and has made it clear that he wants to move to Man City this summer, despite Arsene Wenger saying that he would rather forgo a sale and let Nasri run down the last year of his contract.
But now that the Fabregas saga is nearly over and Ryo Miyaichi has been given a UK work permit, Wenger understands that he will still need to bring in a marquee signing to appease the fans and bring the quality of his team back up to scratch.
Eden Hazard is the player that most Gooners would accept as a perfect replacement for their captain, and the Metro is reporting today that Wenger is preparing to immediately reinvest the proceeds from Nasri on tempting Lille to part with the young Belgian superstar.
Nasri is expected to fetch at least £22m into Arsenal’s transfer kitty, and Lille wouldn’t even consider opening talks for less than £20m, so it may end up with Wenger having to spend the whole of his profit from Nasri on gaining Fabregas’ replacement.
But the money from the sale of Fabregas will still stay in the Arsenal coffers…..

I can assure all of you english Arsenal fans, that Eden Hazard will in fact NOT be joining Arsenal. Eden is staying at Lille so you will have to look elsewhere I am afraid.

Yes Hazard to replace nasri not fabregas! Get a box to box midfielder to replace fabregas and let wilshere n ramsey be the creative ones! Sell Arshavin and Vela and Myachici and Chamberlain can replace them! With Nasri money get Hazard and Cesc money get De Rossi and Mata. Sign Dann and Cahill then get rid of Squallici and Eboue. Also see how much Parker would cost. With those signings we would have a versatile squad and could play a few different formations.

Wont happen. We’ll bring in Mata to replace Cesc, and already have Gervino to replace nasri. A CB will come, as will another striker, probably Joel Campbell (if work permit is sorted) as we only really have 2 in RVP and Chammack.
Hazard is a promising player with some amazing skills but hasn’t got a great attitude and hasn’t got great end product. Frankly Ryo Miachi is already as good.

Don’t want to sound cynical but with what AW has shown this summer so far,i doubt if wenger will replace any player be it fab or ungrateful nasri.
Mata seems expensive for wenger to buy.clubs will surely raise the price for any replacement we want to get as they know we got money from player sales….this goes to show that wenger should have gotten any replacement before sales but no he didn’t becoz he’s so dumb and delusional…
Whatever happens this summer wenger need to go coz that team needs a breath of fresh air#

newcastle is a few days away and we STILL have no decent premiership qual;ity centre-backs (aside TV5…WHO FOR ME LOOKS A GREAT LEFT BACK OR DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER-DESTROYER)….this deficiency has been known for SO long its frightening to consider that the so-called prof still hasnt filled it. maybe he will get scott dann…but i wouldnt bank on it…certainly not by the time of the newcastle match and maybe the liverpool one. Shoddy business arrangements by wenger…for 5million surely wenger could have already bought dann..theres no excuse for waiting…..we dont live hand-to-mouth.
As for the 60 million for cesc an nasri….expect at least 30 million to be retained as profit!…….nice business eh?…..trophies?..what trophies???

It is good news that fabrigas has left. Wenger can now get agood center back, a good attacking mid fielder and agood number 9. Asernal should not stick to player like Nasiri. Let them go .Asernal is far bigger than them.The club may do better even without them. Smaller Clubs have done better with out quality players but with player who have a positive attitude towards the club. Long live Asernal. I remain Gooner for life. No any club is in my heart apart from the Club you know it.

Would be ideal. Sell Cesc and Nasri, 2 players who failed to live up to expectations for the whole season last year (Nasri did well till January, Cesc was more injured than fit or had black outs (Who plays a heel ball when Messi is behind you????)) and buy supertalent Hazard, Mata and Scott Parker . Only downside to Eden is experience, but with that amount of class that should be compensated. Mata is a great player and I would like Parker just to have someone older with experience in the team.
I must say that for now I’m happy we sold Clichy. The f*cker did cost City the Shield :d. Blaming Kompany (someone we could use as replacement for Squillaci) when it’s cleary Clichy that should go for the ball and leave Kompany to cover his back.

in terms of defenders, if we are going to persist with this high line nerve-wrecking system, then wenger is probably looking into a really quick and solid tackler.
we have too many wingers now, and the time we have invested on the likes of walcott, i don’t think we will get another winger especially from abroad. As much as I like AOC, and understand the planning for the English portion of the 25 rule, arsene already had that covered, and that purchase was unnecessary. However Arsene could use the following lineup for the Carling Cup which doesn’t look too bad:

it’s really bad new for us that we loose 2 AMF in 1 summer.i would keep nasri this season n set him for free next summer sign: hazard or M’villa with Cesc money + 1 decent striker who can penetrate defender to goal post with ball as well as to cover RVP. any one = Hugo Rogdella/Podolski/Papiss Cissé or Benzema.
sell chamakh he can’t be the player who we are looking for use the money to cover Benzema’s amount.

Call be crazy but if i were Wenger i would go all out for Thomas Muller of Bayern. IMO he would be an ideal replacement for Nasri and could also fill in up front if (when) Van Persie gets injured and Gervinho/Chamakh are at Africa Nations.
IMO Wenger should look to sign these players (assuming both cesc and samir leave)

It is too painful for us sopporters in Africa sierra Leone to be facing shame and disgrace all the time, as if we cant even feel beating or our players are always practicing how to play. it is too discouraging to support big team with big name and doing nothing. Could try for gotzeee from dortmund/ there is verdan shaqiri who played superbly for Switzerland and has flair…all these would be in decent price range and wage.
