Wenger very positive about Jack Wilshere’s recovery
Speaking in his pre-match pre-match press conference, the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has provided a very positive injury update on Jack Wilshere.
“He (Wilshere) had a very important scan on Thursday and that was very very good, exceptionally good. The news we have for Jack is very positive,” he said.
However, the Frenchman was quick to dismiss any talk of an early return. When asked whether Jack would be featuring any time soon, he replied:
“No. We respect the delays, you know. You can count Jack for maybe mid February”.
The 19-year-old is yet to feature for the Gunners this season after suffering an ankle injury while playing for England against Switzerland in the Euro 2012 qualifiers. Although the injury initially seemed to be just a little ‘niggle’, it turned out to be quite serious and Jack was forced to go under the knife in September.
With Arsenal being drawn against Italian giants AC Milan in the round of 16 of the Champions League, one can only hope and pray that the teenage dynamo will be back in time for the all important clash.

good news! but lets move carefully and patiently like the manager suggested. we need him back for good for the rest of the season so to bring him back before time will cost us more. cant wait to see him back in the middle of our team, to say we have missed you will be an under statement.

Ac milan? Pleaaase! I think we can take them. Last season, wilshere played at the same position arteta is now, near our defence and he was still a threat to opposing defences! Just imagine the damage he will wreck on our opponents wen he takes up fabregas’ or the current ramsey’s place, a more attacking role!

good news…but he wont be fully ready for the Milan game…e will be lacking fitness. As for Podolski, he won’t join Arsenal this winter transfer season…maybe in the summer but for now Wenger will buy a fullback i think.

Let us hope he makes a come back earlier. Our midfield is incomplete without him.He would add the flair and flamboyancy currently still missing.

Our back four will be tested, WOj needs to be alert! Our Midfield needs to
work hard and create (not song) he will have his hands full with Silva
Movement. Aaron Ramsey is the key for me. If he shows pace and takes
opportunities (long range shots/detacting Vanpersie, Theo, Gervinho
movements) we will have a great chance to win. I wish Arsene can play
Arshavin in the middle Ramsey role (More pace, better dribilling,
powerfull shot/ precise vission). Take the proactive road for once Mr.
Wenger and play the Mad Russian in the middle. If Arshavin starts Man
city Mancini will have 9 players behind the ball… . Granteed..

@leite
Ramsay is a two footed player who would rather use his right foot. Wilshire is purely left footed player who therefore goes into the position Arteta now plays. Arteta also likes to use his left more than his right foot. Arteta initially will probably be the one to rotate with the recovering Wilshire unless of course Wenger buys in the window.

i think the returnee of jack ‘ll be a massive one to the team hn..it ‘ll be more competitive between jack and rambo…hmhmhm..but i still have one thing in my mind …and that’s jack ‘ll be benching rambo if he comes back..but there’s still a problem….and that’s jack is only a left footed player rambo and arteta are both footed players…i think if jack possibly comes back ….he should play the role of arteta now…because he only uses left foot to play..and at the same time he make runs on that position…and arteta ‘ll be in the role of rambo…because he uses both leg and that’s more advantage of him….now comparing arteta and rambo…the differences are clear…arteta is more better than rambo in every aspect of football in that position…remember rambo…is having the chance to play today is the absent of jack…and now…rambo need to be trained perfectly in that attacking role..he’s still flopping…no confidence on him yet …we have giving him enough time to recover from his bad injury…i think is enough…he hasn’t prove that he can bench jack if he…. returns…i doubt..hn..

Am just happy bcos wilshere wil be returning very soon and am very happy that we will be playing with a.c milan and not f.c barca..lol.. We will beat a.c milan with confidence. Arteta, ramsey and wilshere= iniesta, xavi and fabregas… Excess squard gives confidence dont worry about who will be benched bcos all will be playing well.. Up gunnerz!

With Wilshere coming back it will give us more options but obviously a nightmare for the Manager to decide on whom to use. Regardless, it adds more depth and quality to our side. Hopefully by the end of January, we’ll have even more depth in all areas on the pitch.
Everytime i think of Wilshere, the words SHEER WILL spring to mind. This kid’s special and will be an Arsenal legend one day. Guardiola hadn’t heard of Wilshere before last years clash in the CL. He was astounded how he dominated the midfield and made your Xavis Inestas and Busquets look like amateurs!
