Why Arsenal fans would love Wenger to buy Fellaini (plus video)
There are very few Arsenal fans that will be feeling sorry for our arch-enemy Ryan Shawcross this morning, as we all remember clearly the day that the Stoke defender broke Aaron Ramsey’s leg a couple of years ago.
Well he certainly got his come-uppance yesterday when he met his match in Everton’s Marouane Fellaini, who certainly was not scared of standing up to him. After being niggled by Shawcross once too much, Fellaini went straight in and clearly head-butted the hard man out of the view of the referee.
The Belgian must have known that he was certain to face punishment for his action, so in the next half-hour he tried once again to head-butt Shawcross, and then managed to get him in the face with a beautiful elbow! It was a joy to watch on Match of the Day this morning.
For those who missed the head-butt, I will put it below, and just to cheer everyone up further, Shawcross also scored an own goal to earn Everton a point!
Fellaini apologised this morning, because he had to I guess, but he is certain to be punished with a ban by the FA: I think he should be given a medal for services to mankind!
To be fair to Fellaini though, Shawcross is a right twat.

Dude shawcross didn’t mean to break ramsey’s leg, he was crying all the way home when his mother went to fetch him after that match. Don’t be so harsh on him, even though we have no love for him.

Even if we got Fellaini, Wenger would probably play him as striker or CB eventually turning the fans against the player and fellaini wanting to leave AFC.
With wenger as manager even ronaldo and messi would not make a difference.

@ran Who ever does intend to break other peoples legs (disregarding Barton). Ryan Shawcross is a thug, and I, for one, have next to no faith in all these stories of him crying to his mum, and it certainly does not put things right. His leg wasn’t broken and his track record proves that, though there may be no intend to break peoples legs, there is certainly no intend not to either. Remember he did similar things to Adebayor and Jeffers as well.
To me Ryan Shawcross is a thug!

Fellani would be class and move santi out to the wing but it aint going to happen. Our priorities has to be a finisher and a DM then we will see after that. I can’t see Fallani wanting to go back to a DM now as he is starring as support striker.But as |I said before would be great player to cover an injured Diaby and bring Santi back in as centre attacker. For January i think we need to sell: chamakh, squillaci, arshavin, ramsey and santos.
And buy: Fellaini, Luke Shaw and Jovetic. They are all young (<25) and have huge potential. Fellaini and Shaw also have PL experience. And i guess there is no ST in PL that is good enough and affordable for us except Ba but i don't really think he is that good.
