Wilshere Out For Much Longer Than Thought
Jack Wilshere will be out of the Arsenal side for much longer than was initially suspected. The young midfielder has missed the first couple of games in the season. The Arsenal medical staff had hoped he could return to training this week but the latest news is not good.
The Metro reports that Wilshere updated his twitter account to say that it will be another two or three months before he can play again: “I can confirm I will be out for around 2-3 months! I am working hard in the gym to stay fit and I am gutted but I will be back stronger!”
The problem is with his right ankle and Arsene Wenger has instructed the medical staff to take no risks and make sure Wilshere has fully healed before he returns to training. Meanwhile Wilshere will miss out on all of England’s qualifying matches for Euro 2012.
Wenger will be glad he signed the likes of Arteta and Yossi Benayoun, put together with Ramsey, Song and Rosicky he has enough midfielders to choose from and allow Wilshere the time to recover from his injury. At 19 Wilshere will have to accept that he will have many playing years ahead of him and that he should make sure he takes of his health in the short term.

He’ll have a chance to build up his upper body a bit so he may come back even better!

Lets hope for a quick recovery . I hope ramsey gets a chance to be the main creative midfielder , hes a real talent

Indeed, thank God we have Arteta, Ramsey, Yossi and Rosicky.
At a push, we can play with two DM’s aswell – Frimpong and Song together and go back to the 1-0 days. It would still be 3 points in the bag, despite not being pretty football.

Between Yossi, Arteta, Song and Frimpong our midfield should still be solid. I’d like to see more of Ramsey though he still needs to prove himself.

A massive well done to wenger for not gambling with arsenals future like he did with cesc. We should have cover so let jack take as long as he needs to get 100% and hopefully not suffer recurring injuries.

I can’t believe this happens to Arsenal year in year out! Look at Chelski’s and Man Poo’s players rarely got injured! Is there something wrong with the physio?

i swear that these injuries can’t just be a coincidence. Arsenal really need to sort this injury problem out! every year we seem to have a ridiculous amount of injuries that I don’t think any other team has as much of a problem with. maybe they rush them back too soon? whatever the case, get it sorted arsenal!!

That’s Swansea at home, Blackburn away and Bolton at home. It’s tempting fate to underestimate these teams but they’re games that Arsenal should win without Jack. The following game is Spurs away so we just need to hope he’s fit for that game on October 2nd. In my opinion he was better than Cesc last season, perhaps not as precise with his final ball but otherwise more influential, and the team isn’t as good when he’s out.

arshavin is the best solution to cover the CAM position left by wilshere.. he got good stabilize body, dribbler and the most important thing he have a good link with our striker..i mean by the through pass..wenger should give arshavin a ‘free role’ on attacking..because arshavin is bad when defensive!!

i’m gutted, that it is like another typical Arsenal injury case.
I remember that vermaelen was almost ready every week during 3 months after they finally came out with the update that he will out for the whole season.
I hope it is no more than what they said!!!!! We cannot keep doing the same stupid stuff. Injuries and selling, selling….

I wonder what’s happening with the medical staff. Its high time & i think we need some changes done in the medical department, they are paid 4 the service n if they cant perform what else …. !!

Thou sad 2 loose him for such a long time, I believe he would come back stronger. A worrying aspect of our club is the medical team cos they seem to be getting their diagnosis wrong on our players. Arsenal is the team in EPL with the highest number of players on the treatment table. I am beginning the cast doubt on the competence of the medical team. An example was Vermelen who was thought would return quickly but ended up missing a whole season. Just thinking aloud.

wenger was warned at the end of last season jack was in the red with his ankle but we kept playing him and now this! this is why its so important to have a strong squad so players can be rested when needs be.
Atleast wenger this season has got arteta and yossi and as long as atleast one of them is fit weve still got quality and experience in that creative roll.
Weve only lost cesc who was annonymous last year and nasri who faded badly after xmas so the nucleaus of the team that got us to march still in all four comps is still there with good additions, in short the squad is much healthier than last year so why cant they win something? its all in the mind with this lot im sure of it.
You can all slate them but im 100% certain that our success this season rests on diaby, rosicky and arsharvin, these players have the ability to be world class and there lack of form has seriously hampered the squad when these players should be leading it!
It would be like united carrying rooney, nani and giggs all season outa form, how good would there squad look then? I promise we have the squad to compete with any1 the difference between us and the other top teams though is that outside our first 11 although the quality is there the consistency and desire is not!
Diaby sums our club up, all the potential in the world to be the best midfielder in the league so what the hell is he playing at? if players like diaby had pulled there weight im certain wengers grand plan would of worked and we would of one titles with this squad. We for some reason could never get all our players firing at the same time, its always one player finds form another player looses it we never seem to get the whole squad firing at the same time.
Anyway thats my ramble for today, never doubted you wenger so lets go for the title!
