Should Arsenal fans worry about Ozil facing England spuds?

If the Premier League season finishes in the way that most of the football experts think it will then the current top three in the table will occupy the same positions as we do now, with Arsenal finishing third behind Tottenham in the runners-up spot and Leicester City completing the biggest upset since Brian Clough took newly promoted Nottingham Forest to the title back in the late 1970s.

That would be hard for us Arsenal fans to take but more because we missed the chance to be crowned champions again than finally finishing below the spuds in the Premier League era. It will not be nice to finish below our north London rivals but I think it is a much bigger thing for them than us.

So even if Leicester finish I reckon Spurs will see the season as a massive success if they pip the Gunners but with just six points between us and a game in hand for Arsenal they should be worried that they might blow it, especially if we play as we can during the run in.

But a massive part of our possible success is the form that Mesut Ozil has been in all season and that is why I am worried about him playing for Germany in the friendly against England tonight. The Arsenal playmaker will come into direct contact with the spuds Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Dele Alli and none of them have been shy about getting stuck in before.

Could they actually target our main man to ensure that the chances of them finishing above Arsenal are a lot better?

  1. To start with, has Ozil recovered from the injury he picked up in our away game to Everton and be fit enough to play for Germany against England tonight?

Ozil should be aware of the burden of Arsenal that is upon his shoulders in our 8 BPL games title run-in. And if at all anything, he MUST excuse himself from playing for Germany tonight in game he could be targeted by Danny Rose the leg breaker for the sake of damaging Arsenal late title surge to win the title to consequently finished above us in a Premier League era if at least for once to stop being accustomed to finishing bellow Arsenal.

  2. Ozil should just go out there and enjoy the game, yes he could ask to be dropped but who thinks he would actually do that????

It’s a friendly, go out there and have fun, come back in the mood to drag us into 2nd spot.

I believe that is the mentality of a winner and Ozil is a winner.

    p.s
Ozil would see any dangerous tackles coming his way before the player knew he was gonna do it with his foresight 😉

  3. Leicester 1 Southampton 0
    Sunderland 0 Leicester 1
    Leicester 1 West Ham 0
    Leicester 1 Swansea City 0
    Man United 0 Leicester 1
    Leicester 1 Everton 0
    Chelsea 0 Leicester 1
