Eight Arsenal players scored in an excellent international break

What an international break it has been for Arsenal, even though we normally hate them because our international Gunners normally come with injuries. Well this time we have remained injury-free so far for a change, and everybody has been scoring goals for their countries.

Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain got on the scoresheets for England, Ramsey got one for Wales to break his duck at last as his country qualified for the Euros for the first time since most of us were born!

Even Olivier Giroud managed to score twice for France in the absence of Karim Benzema, while although Mesut Ozil didn’t score for Germany he pitched in with a perfect assist as the World Champions beat Georgia, and even more surprisingly Joel Campbell scored the only goal as Costa Rica beat the USA.

Super Santi also found his scoring boots with two goals in Spain’s 4-0 win over Luxembourg, and Alexis Sanchez was the star of the show as usual with the second goal in an excellent wn over Brazil, and he added another two in last nights 4-3 win over Peru to keep his country joint top of the World Cup Qualifying Group.

And to top off a great week, Chuba Akpom found the net on his England U21 debut, and our young prodigy Serge Gnabry scored for the Germany U21s in a 6-0 rout of the Faroe Islands.

So 12 goals scored from 8 different Arsenal players augurs well for the rest of the season, but one particular goal tickled me more than all these. It was Robin Van Persie’s excellent headed own goal as Holland were eliminated from the competition by Petr Cech’s Czech Republic, who topped their group….

Pls Admin , permit me to swear and rain down abuses on this Bernabeau mugs!

    1. Just need admin’s blessing…………. Got fire in my belly, it could spew out of my mouth right now!

      1. You’ve already done it. But relax. It won’t happy. My Arsenal are not selling club again.
I wonder whether that fine “Little Boy’s goal against his country will be counted for him in his total international goals.
He left us at the time we needed him most after we had endured him through his injury year. Am he was dumped out by Manure and now he will be remembered by Dutch fans forever for the wrong reason. Nemesis.

  2. Alexis is an elite player now. When he came to arsenal, he was not in the category of Suarez, Lewandowski etc. But Wenger has fine tuned his passing now. He passes the ball with ultimate ease. And to add to that, he already has a desire to be the best. And I am not afraid to make this statement, I see him being as good as Ronaldo in the near future. Maybe not scoring wise, but influence wise. He has been on elite level. Give him 300K per week now.. He deserves it more than any other player in EPL. Glad Glad Glad to have him in Arsenal.. Alexis sanchez Baby..

  3. so much goals from so many arsenal players with no news of injury on the horizon??? while city’s key players aguero and silva get injured almost at the same time? sh#t!!!! this is the fu###n’ definition of awesome!
    lets WIN the league NOW!

  4. Mission number 2

= Let’s keep chelski in the relegation zone

= Let’s keep manure and manshetty out of top four

= Let’s pave the way for soton and the swans (no hard feelings) into the top four

= then i’d like to see the premier league table at the end of the season look like this

    .Arsenal
    .soton
    .swans
    .palace

    (i must be dreaming) L()L

  5. I am so delighted for the performances of our players that were in action for their respective national sides especially Sanchez and Carzola who scored five goals between themselves and to cap it off, there were no injuries to our players. Its a huge morale boost for us and long may it last. #Coyg

  6. LOL..where’s that nigga that was talking bout Sanchez being jinxed? you still believe hoodoo works with football now?

      1. aaaww man come on! N word? maybe its cus its a diff set of race buh believe me i didnt use that word to insult anyone..
its a word we use to refer to ourselves down here, my friend can also be referred to as my nigga. But apologies if to ya’ll its an offensive word.

      2. @Eddy……… Somehow, the rules and regulations of the site forbids it …and probably cuz u spelt it all out completely…….then there’s also the fact that this blogosphere consists of people of different races….. Different people, different approach, rationale , ideas and beliefs……. All these contributes! ah guess!

      3. Hmm I know that different folks have differing opinions about this. For instance the “brothers” use it amongst themselves, but for a multicultural family site like JustArsenal, I think we’ll ask Eddie NOT to use it again please….

  7. To be honest some times i doubted sanchez for not scoring enough and for not running behind defenders but now he is totally proving me wrong he is running behind defenders for the whole match yesterday and his two goals where with one touch finishes (ronaldo style)
So he can he the best player to wear arsenal shirt if he kept this form and the confidence of scoring for ease

    1. Happy that he was not injured. Hope he brings back the scoring form. Now that he’s scoring, he will look for more goals like CR7. Ozil, please do the supply.

  8. Ozil will love the new alexis and withe theo on the pitch I really trust arsenal attack to score goals

Had a dream yesterday about beating bayers 2-0

    1. Please convert that your dream to reality. I will like it. Am looking forward to the match. We can do it.

  9. Add to the goals the good performances of gibbs ospina and chambers. Cech also had a good match despite letting in 2 goals. Whilst I understandable 4 of our young players all scored as well for England and France.

Seems the crisis club is really doomed!!

  10. Real madrid must be dreaming, they bought james for 67mil or so,bale 90mil and so on, gooners tell me between Sanchez, bale and james would u pick.
Sanchez is worth well over 60Mil and they are talking about cheryshev 37.3mil what an insult, well we arsenal ain’t interested, madrid should go look elsewhere.

    1. James christened Jamez…. meks Sanchez look like a century bargain n Bebe money down the drain…. n VP,,, ohhhhhh my gosh… Wenger might b hard to convince to buy but that guy is astute… To get Mo than 20m pounds for TV5, Song n RvP, you must b a genius in some sense n buying Sanchez for half the amount paid fi Jamezi….. Um lost for words……. Let me enjoy being a Gunner for a moment….. L U ol Gunners’ supporters…. lncluding Hafiz Raaman…

  11. 1st, Real Madrid u may come up with at least 100m before we even flinch at an offer for Alexis… pay the man 160,000 a wk Arsene! Offer Ozil 150,000 and we have both tied down for another 5years each, brings them into their 30s. Both are on form so lets be smart get them signed along with Monreal!

2nd, Great to see all the gooners scoring, assisting and putting in MOTM performances for their respective countries ?sad to see players injured (silva, kun) but happens to us every year usually so now time to take advantage and the way things are lookng, no offence to Watford, been solid this year at home but Arsenal on tune willtear these boys apart imo.

3rd, and lastly… If we can win our next 3games then the tite could be a real possibility and Bayern wont get an as easy match as they think next week! COYG lets do something with all the positives going for us atm.

    Have a good day gooners

  12. And to cap it off “The Dutch Traitor” scored an own goal as the Netherlands are dumped out of Euro ’16 at home in front of their own fans.

It’s been downhill for him though.

    1. Tricked by Fergie and retired after promising him many years of success together.

    2. Made a scapegoat for Man U’s dismal seasons after Fergie and thrown out by his “father (Van-the-man-Gal) at Man U

    3. Dumped to the bench on arrival at lowly Fenerbahce after a “Triumphant entry into Istanbul”. What a false dawn

    4. Dumped as Netherlands captain and benched. What a degradation ceremony!

    5. Brought on to inspire a comeback but first significant contribution? Scores an own goal in front of home fans to seal his country’s elimination from the Euros.

    6. While the likes of Drogba and Ibra in their late and mid thirties respectively continue to pump in goals, “The Dutch Traitor” hits the twilights of his career in early thirties.

What a befitting end to an ingrate! It couldn’t have been any better for the faithful gunners!

  13. For a player having a groin, how can he perform to the extent of running for 190mins of football and yet scoring 3 goals at the process…. Just thinking what God use in creating Alexis, more powerful than a Duracell.

But seriously and FACT be told, I won’t swap Ronaldo for Alexis, because Ronaldo can’t do it all when Arsenal are not performing, but Alexis will.

  14. @Bobshinery1,# Ronaldo is a big fish don’t think twice before swapping, but Alexis is a marvellous creature that I wonder how hardworking a player he is.

I feel confident whenever he’s on d pitch both for club and country.

  15. Where’s that #9 shirt please. I will love to see Alexis putting it on -Alexis9.

Or is there anyone coming in come January?
