Arsenal’s target prefers another Premier League club

Arsenal has been dealt a transfer blow as their target, Sergej Milinkovic Savic, does not want to join them.

The Lazio midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Serie A club in the last few months, and they have set an asking price for his signature.

Although their asking price for his signature is high, that is not the main issue blocking Arsenal from winning the race for his signature.

A report on The Sun claims the midfielder has his mind set on joining only one club if he moves to England.

It claims his preference is to join Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United, and he has no intention of joining another EPL club.

Milinkovic-Savic will bring quality to the Arsenal squad, but they cannot force him to join them.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Milinkovic-Savic is one of the finest midfielders in Europe now, and that is why several clubs want to sign him.

However, players have clubs they want to play for, and they have a reason for choosing them.

We will only enjoy having him in our squad if he decides he wants to join us.

There are several other players at other clubs that dream of playing for us and can do a good job. We need to identify them and add them to this squad.

  1. Don’t trust The Sun! Awful paper, half the writers are United fans. And lets face it, Milinkovic-Savic might not want to join us but I don’t believe for a second he would only want to join United. Liverpool, Man City? Fair enough. Maybe even Chelsea. But United? Who’s blatant first choice is de Jong? Who’s main striker is trying desperately to leave? Who are yet to even get their transfer business going (barring paying over the odds for Martinez)? 🤪 Sorry, seems highly unlikely.
Also, Fabrizio Romano just this week encouraged Arsenal to go in for him, and he’s far more trusted than The Sun.

  2. This is scandalous, writing an article on club’s website that belittle our beloved Arsenal should never be tolerated. You are lucky you are online not anywhere I could physically find you. The man you talk about wanted to go to another club and its understandable as we did not qualify for Champion’s league but here you are repeating to tell us things that happened 2 months ago. The editor of this website should be removed as he is one who allow all these articles.

  3. Savic is a fine player no doubt but for £60m or £70m I will rather have Onana and a winger.
