Italians looking to offload Arsenal and Spurs target today?!?

Serie A side Roma are looking to offload Arsenal and Tottenham linked Leandro Paredes, and may well sell today.

The Argentine midfielder is supposedly available for a €20 Million fee, with the Giallorossi claimed to be looking to free up funds in order to land their main target Franck Kessie in the coming summer.

The Atalanta midfielder has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal this season, after an impressive term in Italy, but is believed to be close to agreeing to join Roma at the end of the season.

Paredes now looks set to make way either today or at the end of the term, but could Tottenham or Arsenal make their moves today?

The 22 year-old has started only once since October, but claims to still be happy with his role in Rome, but if his club wants to sell, than I cant imagine he will put up much of a fight to stay.

Arsenal have had question marks raised over the discipline of summer signing Granit Xhaka, and have Mohamed Elneny and Santi Cazorla both injured at present, and could well be boosted by a midfield addition before the window’s close at 11PM tonight. One player who did impress in the FA Cup in a new central role was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and he may well find himself used there primarily if he can replicate that performance in the role in the near future.

Tottenham on the other hand have a number of central midfielders available, but are still linked with an interest, although I cant imagine they would be interested in adding a central midfielder this month.

Should Arsenal bring in another midfielder? Is Paredes an ideal addition to our squad?
