Ramsey set for scoring run and Arsenal will win everything!

The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey finally got his first goal of the season in the Wales win in midweek, after missing a sitter for the Gunners against Man United, and the player himself feels sure that now he has broken his duck the goals will start flowing again. I’ve been wanting it now for a few games for Arsenal as well,” he said.

“I have struggled a bit at the beginning of the season with goals, it has been pretty frustrating on that front, but hopefully now that will settle me down and I can carry on throughout the season.”

Although he missed a big chance against United, Arsenal still won emphatically and Ramsey thinks the facile win will also get the team on a run too. “We owed them from a few years ago and the way we started the game was fantastic,” Ramsey gushed. “Hopefully we can continue that now and carry on to beat the bigger teams and carry on our form against the other teams.”

Another player who is certain the Gunners are going on to great things with this team is our new Brazilian defender Gabriel, who is even more confident than Ramsey. “On the first day I arrived here I felt something special.” the centre-back said. “In reality, I think I always wanted to achieve the most important goals in the world and in the biggest competitions.

“When I got here, I saw that Arsenal have the ability to do it. We have great players to win the biggest competitions.

“I’m sure that me, my team-mates and everyone that works here will make history.

“I will have my name remembered here for my son and your sons to see that we won the Champions League, the Premier League, the best competitions, because Arsenal are capable of doing it.”

Confidence alone won’t bring goals or trophies, but a little bit of self belief always helps, especially against the bigger sides. But first of all we have to prove that this is the start of a great run, by getting our third League win in a row against Watford this weekend.
