This Spanish club will compete with Arsenal for Manchester United man

Anthony Martial could leave Manchester United next month and Arsenal is one of the clubs he could join, according to Mirror Football.

The Frenchman is struggling for playing time at United after the arrival of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.

The Gunners aren’t the only club looking to sign him with Fichajes.net claiming they are now facing competition from Atletico Madrid.

The Spaniards are prepared to make their move next month as they bid to add more attacking reinforcements to their squad for the second half of the campaign.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Signing a player who cannot get game-time at Manchester United used to be a good idea, but Arsenal is a much bigger club now.

Martial can rebuild his career at the Emirates, but the Frenchman isn’t the type of attacker we need now.

Mikel Arteta’s squad needs a striker that can guarantee loads of goals and Martial hasn’t done that for much of the time he has spent with United.

He might also flop at the Emirates, Arsenal is better off targeting other players who are playing and performing regularly at their current club.

It might be hard to sign a better attacker in January, but waiting until the summer wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
